Chief Executive Officer
When not transfixed by data, Hubert performs classical music and sings opera. He also plays organ at Poland’s oldest convent and leads a Gregorian chant group.
Hubert provides expert advice on a wide range of technologies with a focus on data analytics, data science, and software development.
As a computer scientist with a background in data analytics and machine learning, Hubert joined CERN (the TOTEM experiment) in 2003. He contributed to designing, building, and deploying algorithms and data analytics software that was used to find extremely rare events amid overwhelming background noise. During his time at CERN, Hubert served as Deputy Data Analytics Coordinator and Lead Software Engineer. Since the foundation of Cledar, Hubert has focused on machine learning, data acquisition, data infrastructure, and Audio and Video processing. He is a key contributor to 95 papers, has 4,435 citations and an h-index of 27.

Chief Technology Officer
Away from tech, Piotr enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, devising new DIY projects, and engaging in a little Gregorian chanting.
Piotr advises on technology management and knowledge acquisition, specializing in software architecture, large-scale computing, distributed computing, big data storage, cloud technologies, communication protocols, video streaming, databases, networking, and federated authentication.
Piotr served as a Chief Architect, Team Leader, and Software Engineer at CERN, where he managed the implementation of Service Availability Monitoring and the operations management system for the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG), the largest massively distributed computing grid in the world.

Christian enjoys mountain biking, feeding his sourdough bread starter and finding innovative new ways to work Big Lebowski quotes into everyday conversations.
With twenty years in corporate, transactional, and intellectual property law, Christian provides the legal support needed to ensure Cledar’s services are seamlessly delivered.
Prior to Cledar, Christian served as General Counsel/Senior Counsel to some of Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing technology companies, including Amazon.com, Databricks, Zuora, and Snappy. Christian has also managed the legal departments of a global technology staffing company and a robotics company in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Chief Data Scientist
When not teaching the machines, Joanna loves trying out new sports, experimenting with robotics, and cooking up culinary treats from around the world.
Joanna is a senior machine learning engineer and data scientist, specializing in methods for image processing, structured and unstructured data, data analysis, and prediction models. Joanna developed numerous predictive and classification models for private- and public-sector clients in the finance, economy, healthcare, and retail sectors.
Joanna specializes in custom tools for process automation using machine learning methods for computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) with Docker and AWS.

Director of R&D
A sci-fi fan, Sławek enjoys the works of authors like Isaac Asimov, Stanisław Lem, and William Gibson. He thinks “The Fifth Element” is the best film ever.
Sławek is a Senior Director and Chief Architect at Cledar. Sławek’s extensive experience spans project management, software architecture, and 15 years as a back-end developer. He uses this experience to great effect at Cledar, where he specializes in the backend technology stack, system programming, software architecture, networking technologies, security, operating system programming, device drivers, and communication protocols.

Director of Engineering
A craftsman at heart, Tomasz’s recent passion is hybrid woodworking, which allows him to express his life-long appreciation for quality and professionalism.
Tomasz is a Senior Director and Software Architect, who is responsible for R&D and project management at Cledar. With over 10 years’ backend experience, Tomasz specializes in networking technologies, network security, operating system programming, embedded firmware, device drivers, virtualization technologies, build and test automation systems, and reverse engineering.

Chief Solution Architect
An avid rock climber and mountaineer, Darek has trekked thousands of kilometers across Europe and New Zealand. He devours science, philosophy and tech books.
With 20 years’ experience in IT and information and data security, Darek oversees information security at Cledar. He is an active ISC2 member and an expert in secure cloud computing and secure application development, DevSecOps, SSO and Identity Management, E2E encrypted communication, public key infrastructure, auditing, and privacy.

Chief Financial Officer
An avid reader who enjoys keeping his finger on the pulse of world news, geopolitics, and global finance.
Michał is an experienced Business Manager with a background in IT and Finance. He excels in client collaboration and has a well-honed ability to identify client pain points and create viable solutions.
Michał’s experience and expertise includes data science and machine learning, as well as financial analysis, including the creation of financial models, the detection of economic trends, benchmarking, process analysis, and the development of business studies.

Joel loves debating history with his wife, arguing existential metaphysics with his daughter, postulating Lego theory with his son, and playing fetch with his dog Rufus.
With 17 years in software technology consulting, Joel heads up growth strategy and go-to-market advisory for Cledar.
Prior to Cledar, Joel lived in Eastern Europe for 10 years where he established new business units, scaled IT service delivery, and built sales teams for cutting-edge IT consulting firms. Since moving back to the U.S. in 2016 to Sarasota, Florida, Joel continues to work closely with clients to deliver software and data science solutions internationally.
